Portable Models

Constant current sources and amplifiers provide steady output current independent of the load and input power line with variations. Usage of these constant sources and amplifiers include generating magnetic fields, testing and qualifying products such as circuit breakers, relays, transformers, meters, etc. “CR-S” series constant current mode power sources are stable and easy-to-use power supplies designed with linear circuitry.

The standard output ranges of our constant current sources include 0 - 1 A, 0 - 2 A, 0 - 5 A, 0 - 10 A, 0 - 20 A, 0 - 25 A, 0 - 40 A, 0 - 50 A, 0 - 100 A. Custom output ranges (up to 1000 A) can be specified by customers. The output frequency is defaulted at 60 Hz. Other fixed output frequencies (such as 50 Hz, and 400 Hz) can be supplied if specified on order. The default output waveform of our constant current sources is sine wave. The output waveform of our constant current sources always starts from the zero crossing point when being turned on (enabled).

On top of the standard models, customers can choose additional features from a variety of purchase options. These purchase options include: 0 - 10 V DC control option, RS232 control option, GPIB control option, 0 - 10 V DC output monitoring option, dual output frequencies option, square wave output option, higher output frequency (than 2K Hz) option. Our constant current power amplifiers and power sources can power up highly inductive loads with low distortion. We manufacture multi-channel constant current power amplifiers and constant current sources.
